THANK YOU to the John Ballantyne Donor Advised Fund of the FM Area Foundation for gifting $100,000 as our 2024 Giving Hearts Day match! We are tremendously grateful for your continued support.

Bison Strides is supported through two funds at the NDSU Foundation which is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization (Federal Tax ID: 23-7120898) under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations made to the NDSU Foundation are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

The Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) Fund is the primary supporting fund for Bison Strides operations. Dollars donated here are used to underwrite financial assistance for participants, support programming needs, purchase adaptive tack or new equipment, support general equine care and the purchase of quality program horses, to pay for staff continuing education and general operating costs.

The Donovan J Martin Endowment fund is named in honor of DJ Martin, an amazing young man who inspired his mom to found Riding on Angels Wings Therapeutic Riding Center. This remarkable program served families in our region from 2002 to 2017. During that time, DJ was instrumental in raising awareness of the tremendous benefits equine assisted activities and therapies can have for people of all abilities. DJ continues to serve his community and has overcome many obstacles in his life, each time doing so with incredible strength, grace and courage. Please consider joining DJ to support a lasting legacy of equine assisted  services in Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding communities.

THANK YOU to everyone who donates and keeps Bison Strides going strong!
